In the
Andaman sea, amongst breathtaking lime rock formations,
the beautiful twin islands of Koh
Phi Phi have some amazing beaches.
Ao
Maya - "The Beach"
Koh Phi Phi is also home of "The Beach",
the movie starring Leonardo Di Caprio!
Although
Ao Maya is
Phi Phi's best stretch of the golden stuff, other
beaches are also pretty good. Tonsai, Lanah Bay
to name just a couple are as good as any beach in
the south.
Khao Tapoo - "James Bond Island"
Still on the subject of movies, the 007 film "The
Man With The Golden Gun", was made
in these parts.
Starring
Roger Moore & Christopher Lee, has it's final
scene at Khao Tapoo.
